Guide context menu

Right-click a guide on desktop, or long-press it on mobile, to open the guide-specific context menu. Right-click empty canvas and the same menu surface offers the Add … Guide here entries plus Center Canvas. This page is the reference for both branches.

On a guide

Entry	What it does
Delete Guide	Removes the guide from the room.

The guide context menu in v1 only carries delete. To move a guide, drag it directly on desktop (mouse drag) or with the Move tool on mobile. To change its position numerically, open the entity panel on desktop or tap the entity info button on mobile and edit the X / Y position field.

On empty canvas

When the right-click or long-press lands away from any entity:

Entry	What it does
Add Horizontal Guide here	Drops a horizontal guide at the click position. The guide extends infinitely left and right at that Y coordinate.
Add Vertical Guide here	Drops a vertical guide at the click position. The guide extends infinitely up and down at that X coordinate.
Center Canvas	Fits the whole plan back into the viewport. Appears on desktop and mobile alike; on desktop the app-bar Center Canvas button does the same thing.

If you right-click on top of a guide, you get the guide menu instead (Delete Guide). Drop the click further from the guide to get the Add / Center Canvas menu.

Hit area

The hit area for "this click landed on a guide" is calibrated to be finger-friendly on mobile — you don't have to hit the line pixel-perfectly. On desktop the hit area is generous too, since the guide is one pixel wide visually but the hit-test uses a wider tolerance band.

Tips

• Drop guides at exact positions by right-clicking near where you want them, then dragging the placed guide to fine-tune. Or on desktop, drop the guide on or near an existing wall endpoint — the guide drops at the click location, but you can drag it onto the endpoint after.
• The Add Horizontal Guide here / Add Vertical Guide here entries always drop one guide per click. To add several at once, right-click and pick again, or use the Tape Measure precision pad on mobile.
• The Center Canvas entry on empty canvas is the mobile path to fit-to-screen. On desktop, the app bar's Center Canvas button or 0 / Home does the same thing.
